AbstractThe new nurse is a new graduate nurse who enters the work environment after going through the recruitment process in a health service agency. Fear and special difficulties in adapting to the work environment are common in new graduate nurses and call this fear transition transition because it occurs as a result of conflict between the expectations of new graduates for nursing roles and the real reality of their roles. The purpose of this study was to gain a deep understanding of the experience of new nurses on clinical competence after receiving preceptorship assistance. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach through in-depth interviews, data analysis using NVivo 11 Plus analysis. The results of the study that the themes that influence the sub-theme of clinical competition, guidance on precertorship and management efforts to improve the competency of new nurse clinics after receiving preceptorship assistance and management support for improving clinical competence after receiving preceptorship assistance at RSU UKI Jakarta.
