Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises are implementing elements of the City Government in the field of cooperatives, small and medium enterprises. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of motivational factors as reinforcing factors (hygiene) and as a satiation factor (motivator) to employee performance Dept. of Cooperatives, Small and Medium East Jakarta Municipality. The methodology used is the technique of analysis of variance for the data that proves analiasis employee motivation factors as independent variables and employee performance as the dependent variable, and followed by a simple linear regression analysis techniques to test a test to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect. The population is the entire staff of the Dept. of Cooperatives, Small and Medium East Jakarta Municipality totaling 31 people, as the whole sample. Data collection techniques, which are secondary data collected from existing data in the Dept. of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises in East Jakarta municipality, while the primary data used questionnaires to the respondents. Based on the data processing program for Windows R.60, 2001, the result shows that there is a positive and significant influence of motivational factors on the performance of the staff of the Dept. of Cooperatives, Small and Medium East Jakarta Municipality.
